A long but mostly gentle walk, starting through a lonely valley on an old road with a surprising history, returning on an ancient track along the top of one of the fantastic “never-ending ridges” of the Black Mountains, complete with ancient boundary stones, bronze age burial cairns, ghost stories, and an iron age hill fort of vital strategic importance!
