A rough, tough walk visiting four of the aircraft crash sites on the Carmarthen Fan, in the west of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The walk takes you to the highest peak in the area (Bannau Brycheiniog – 802m) with stunning views in every direction. The wrecks are difficult to locate, especially in poor visibility, and good navigation skills are essential. This is a mountain walk in every sense of the word, and directions are given as a guide rather than a precise set of instructions.
